Asian esports and gaming company Ampverse has announced the addition of new members to its Advisory Board, which now includes global executives from diverse sectors such as gaming, advertising, investment, technology, and media.

The newly appointed Advisory Board is expected to play a significant role in Ampverse’s growth strategy. This move aligns with the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its influence, building on previous initiatives such as last year’s partnership with DMI Finance to enhance its presence in the Indian esports market.

The board features notable figures including John Redgrave, former VP of Discord; Marcus John, CEO of Sports Capital Advisors; Rohit Sharma, former COO and Board Member of AnyMind Group; and Chirag Shah, a co-founder of several ad tech companies, all of whom bring extensive expertise to the table. Additionally, Oliver Woodley, Global Commercial Director of Soho House Group, and Gita Ramakrishnan, a seasoned investor with over 20 years of experience in capital markets, will contribute their insights from London.

Founded in 2019, Ampverse Group is a Singapore-based entity with a strong presence in the esports industry. The company has collaborated with regional partners like Skyesports and its Thai esports organization, Bacon Time, has worked with prominent brands such as Red Bull.

Charlie Baillie, CEO of Ampverse Group, stated: “Building a remarkable company requires a remarkable team. Since our inception in 2019, we’ve been fortunate to attract a world-class group of team members and investors. With our ambitious global goals, we are thrilled to have such a distinguished group of leaders from various sectors joining our newly formed advisory board to help us achieve our vision.”
