The Honor of Kings Championship 2024 is scheduled to be held in Indonesia.
The Honor of Kings Championship 2024, previously known as the Honor of Kings International Championship, will be held in Indonesia. The tournament will feature 16 teams competing for a prize pool of $1 million (~£784,220). This championship will mark the conclusion of the 2024 Honor of Kings Global Invitational Series, which began in March 2024.
The 2024 edition of the tournament has seen a significant reduction in prize money compared to last year’s event, which had a prize pool of $10 million (~£7.8 million) and was among the highest in 2023. Despite this decrease, the event will continue to feature 16 teams, maintaining the format of previous championships.
In addition to this championship, Honor of Kings’ 2024 calendar includes two league splits and a mid-season competition, which was part of the Esports World Cup. As a result of a partnership with the Esports World Cup Foundation, Honor of Kings will be featured in the 2025 and 2026 Esports World Cups.
This year has seen significant expansion for Honor of Kings’ esports circuit. In January 2024, Level Infinite announced a $15 million (~£11.7 million) investment into the game’s ecosystem, which includes hosting tournaments and entering new global markets.
Honor of Kings continues to grow its presence in the esports scene. In June, French organization Team Vitality joined the game’s partnership program, aimed at supporting the growth and outreach of the esport.
