ESI Lisbon 2024 is just around the corner — the premier event for the esports, video games, and creator economy sectors is approaching quickly, set for September 23rd-25th at the MEO Arena, the largest venue in Lisbon.
This year’s event promises an engaging experience with two stages offering a variety of content and ample networking opportunities in the vibrant city of Lisbon.

What is ESI Lisbon?
ESI Lisbon is the leading industry event organized by Esports Insider’s events division, ESI Events. It gathers over 1,000 professionals from the esports, video game, and creator economy sectors, providing a platform for networking and discussions aimed at advancing the industry. This year’s event runs alongside the SBC Summit at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa, allowing attendees to access both events and connect with a combined audience of over 25,000 industry professionals.

The theme for ESI Lisbon 2024 is “Where Worlds Collide.” The event will feature a variety of workshops, presentations, and main stage panels covering topics from industry innovations to business development strategies. ESI Lisbon will also include immersive Exhibition & Activation Zones such as The Campus, Esports Village, Creator Hub, The Playground, and Tech District. The event experience will span three main areas: the Auditorium, the Townhall, and workshop rooms. Attendees can look forward to new and engaging networking events throughout the event, both during the day and evening.

Esports Leaders
Esports Leaders is an invitation-only event designed for high-level executives, founders, and directors from major esports teams, tournament operators, game publishers, brands, sponsorship agencies, federations, and select service providers. This one-day gathering will focus on strategic meetings and discussions aimed at driving industry progress.
ESI Hall of Fame 2024
The ESI Hall of Fame celebrates exceptional contributions to the esports industry. The event will honor achievements in four categories: Hall of Famer, Community Champion, Youth Champion, and Rising Star. After previous editions in London, Busan, and Los Angeles, the Hall of Fame will take place in Lisbon, recognizing global accomplishments within the esports community over the past year.
ESI Film Festival
The ESI Film Festival highlights creativity at the intersection of film, gaming, and esports. This year’s festival, featuring a €6,000 prize pool thanks to our partner ESG Gaming, will reward the Best Film and Best Student Film. The shortlisted entries will be showcased on September 24th at the MEO Arena’s Super Stage.
Play by the Rules
In collaboration with law firms Eversheds Sutherland and Clifford Chance, and Esports Legal News, ESI Lisbon will introduce “Play by the Rules,” a new legal forum. Scheduled for September 24th, this forum will offer Town Hall stage and workshop sessions covering key legal topics in esports, such as player contracts and intellectual property rights.

ESI Lisbon will feature a diverse lineup of industry leaders discussing a broad range of topics through workshops, presentations, and panel discussions. Attendees can expect insights on industry innovations, business strategies, and pressing issues such as esports governance, in-game advertising, and the future of esports.
